Tarakjuk
Tarakjuk is a variety of juk , or Korean porridge, made by boiling a mixture of milk and finely ground rice soaked in water. It is also called uyujuk, both terms meaning "milk porridge".
Glutinous rice powders 2/3 cu
Water 1 cup
Milk 2.5 cups
Salt 2 tsp
Some pine nuts for garnish.
Sugar and additional salt to the taste
Put some oven papers on a frypan and lightly toast glutinous rice powders on a very low heat. When rice powders start change in colors, put water and stir well. When mixture starts boiling, place milk. When texture becomes thick, put 2 teaspoon of salt to taste. Garnish with pine nuts and add sugar or additional salt to the taste before serving
